I was just recalling my school pledge, strangely enough or not-so-strangely enough, I had forgotten it...So googled it and came up with it above... In school, we are taught so many "nice", "worthy", "moral", "valued" things..but whats the use?? As soon as ones passes out of the school, it just vaporizes....

Me 1st at traffic signal, jumping the stop lines, at zebra crossing...
Me 1st at honking as soon as the red turns amber...
Me 1st at jumping queues at ticket windows, bill payment, movie halls..err..EVERYWHERE...
Me 1st at bribing others to get the work done and then criticizing the same system...
Me 1st at whistling and ogling at women...
Me 1st at saying "ladies seat hai toh kya hua, tumne khareed li hai kya?"(So what if its a Ladies Seat, Have you bought it?)
Me 1st at jumping queues even to exit out of a bus...(as if, the bus would move away without letting you go..)
Me 1st at screaming at noisy neighbours, disturbing others even more than before...
Me 1st at taunting others for their "moral" value, forgetting that I have neither...
Me 1st at laughing at others if they trip or fall...
Me 1st at conning a foreigner or even Indian tourist...
Me 1st at throwing garbage away and littering but making faces when others do the same...
Me 1st at asking for dowry at son's marriage, but appalled at daughter's...
Me 1st at preaching my ward about not to smoke when I, myself is a Malboroddict...
Me 1st at sitting at home watching Election result instead of going...
Me 1st at abusing the same government, whom I did not have any contribution in...
Me 1st at....
Arey, I am not that mean, bad and selfish...there are many firsts I have kept for YOU also...U first at a blood/eye/organ donation camp...
U first at help an accident victim...(I dont want to go into all these legal hassles!!)
U first at any Sex/AIDS/HIV awareness program...
U first at helping your maid fight against domestic violence...
U first at wishing your subordinate/peon/assistant/helper/maid a "Good Morning", "Good Afternoon", "Good Night", "Please", "Thank you" and/or "Welcome"!!! (YIKES!!!!!)
U first at letting me get ahead of you in ANY QUEUE...
U first at holding doors for others... (Bloody doormat!!)
U first at WAITING for your turn...(not me, huh!!!)
U first at following traffic rules...(what rules..)
U first at helping a visually-impaired to cross the street...(Who has time but you?!!)
U first at girl adoption...(no comments!)
U first to go an HIV test prior to marriage...(I am a MAN, I don't need that thing...)
